1) Who the Service is for (Age 17+)

The Service is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not direct the Service to children.

2) What FelarNet does

Discover the art of wine and craft beverage collecting with FelarNet. Transform your passion into a beautifully organized, interactive digital cellar.

  • Snap a photo of your favorite bottle and let FelarNet create a detailed archive (name, origin, vintage, and more).
  • Rate flavors, jot down tasting notes, and visualize profiles (including a flavor radar chart).
  • Track your collection’s history with a timeline and inventory insights.
  • Dive into analytics to understand habits and discover trends, favorite regions, and styles.

3) Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information collected with your permission.

3.1) Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Customer support: messages and any information you choose to share with support.
  • Content you create: tasting notes, ratings, timeline entries, and other content you submit.
  • Photos you choose to upload: bottle photos or other images you submit for archiving features.

3.2) Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, OS version, language, time zone, app version, and identifiers associated with the device or app instance.
  • Usage data and analytics: features used, in-app actions, performance metrics, and aggregated statistics.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports and error logs to improve stability and reliability.
  • Network information: IP address and general (coarse) location derived from IP.

3.3) Location information (only with your permission)

If you grant permission, we may collect precise location or approximate location. You can allow or deny location access at any time in your device settings.

3.4) Cookies and similar technologies

If the Service includes web-based views or a website, we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and improve performance and security.

4) AI-related features and how we process uploads

You control whether to upload and generate content. Uploading photos or text for processing is optional and initiated by you.

  • Processing occurs on FelarNet’s own servers operated by FelarNet.
  • No sharing with third parties for processing.
  • Immediate deletion after processing (subject only to short-lived technical buffering needed to transmit and complete the request).
  • No training / no marketing use of your uploaded photos/text.

The Service may store results you choose to keep (for example, extracted bottle attributes you save to your cellar). By default, photos are intended to remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to upload them for a feature.

5) Photos, face data, and biometrics

  • We do not perform facial recognition.
  • We do not collect or use biometric identifiers for identification.
  • If a photo incidentally contains a person’s face, we do not use it for biometric purposes.
  • For one-time generation, uploaded inputs are used once for that purpose and then deleted as described above.

6) How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (accounts, content, features).
  • Personalize your experience (preferences, settings).
  • Improve and develop the Service (debugging, analytics, performance).
  • Protect security and integrity (fraud prevention, abuse detection).
  • Provide customer support and communicate with you.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

7) How we share information

We share information only as necessary and in the minimum amount required:

  • With your consent when you ask us to or explicitly permit it.
  • With service providers (processors) that help us operate the Service under contractual safeguards.
  • For legal reasons to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition) subject to appropriate safeguards.

8) International data transfers

We may transfer, store, and process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other lawful mechanisms.

9) Security

  • Encryption in transit and (where applicable) at rest
  • Access controls and least-privilege practices

  • Backups and recovery processes

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

To exercise rights, contact us at glachev@david2019.com. We will respond within 5 business days where feasible, and as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity.

12) Third-party links and services

The Service may include links or integrations to third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not cover third-party privacy practices.

13) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means.
